Flushing of radiator in sani with the vg 30 engine

Can the fundis out there give me a hand as to what exact steps to take when I flush the radiator please.

I have already aquired the coolant and questions like the following arise:

After flushing do I first add the coolant and if so +- how much
Do I let the engine run when I do this
After filling the radiator with water do I still add water to the plastic bottle etc

You need a mix that will give you a -20degC protection. The stronger you make the mix, the colder temp it can handle, but also the less heat it will transfer.

In Musina I run a 30% coolant mix.

Eintlik moet jy dan weet hoeveel vloeistof jou hele sisteem bevat en dan daarvolgens die persentasie uitwerk. Ek sien die gegewens is in die handboek

Dreineer die stelsel (onthou om die kajuit-verwarmer op "hel" te sit, sodat hy ook dreineer).

Volg die "flush" bottel se aanwysings, indien jy dit gaan gebruik.
So nie vul met water, laat lekker warm word en dreineer weer.

Vul die stelsel met 30-70% verkoel-vloeistof (min is 30%, 50% is die norm).

Kontroleer die vlakke vir die volgende paar dae.
