Default Dirk's Rubi in Action!
Dirk and I went for a quick drive this morning, after he had the 2" lift fitted yesterday.

Here's a few pics, the rest in the gallery link below.

We both got hung up on the same deceiving little crest and had to recover each other. Other than that the Rubi went really well.

Sal die rubi geniet, as ek eers oor die fuel consumption skok kan kom! Soek nog die 14l/100km volgens die dealer, tel 10 by.

Was baie weird om van die manual diesel met traction control te beweeg na auto petrol met geen tc maar lockers. Het vandag taamlik rondgespring tussen 4h en 4l, met lockers, sonders lockers etc, selfs met 2h gespeel.

Ek moet nou eers die voertuig se werke heeltemal onder die knie kry, alhoewel ek die laaste jaar of so baie min kans gehad het om te ry het ek my disco geken en geweet wat was nodig om watter omstandighede, nou is dit heletemal 'n nuwe game.

Maar ek moet erken met vandag se sand opdraendes sou ek die duiwel uit my disco moes jaar waag ek relatief stadig, in 4H met die rubi gery het.

Dit lyk nie net mooi nie, maar van wat ek al gesien het werk dit ook baie mooi.
Geniet dit en ek glo jy sal gou regkom.

Petrol verbruik moet jy maar aanvaar...

Forum sticker moet ek by Stockman kry, het nie self oor nie. En die spaar wiel cover is reg, maar die spaar wiel moet omgeruil word eers. So een van die dae!

Dirk, baie geluk - dit is 'n wonderlike voertuig en uit ondervinding, skrik hy nie vir sand nie - ek is ook nog besig op presies agter die kap van die byl te probeer kom tussen 2H, 4H en 4L. Klippe en bergterein is natuurlik 'n ander storie - die Rubi stop vir niks!

Op die "langpad" kry ek so 13 tot 14l/100km - anders klim dit maklik na so 'n maksimum van 22.
