Default New shotgun motivation

Hello all,

I have a 20ga Miroku o/u and browsing in Dave Shear shop the other day found another EXACTLY the same gun for R7k( the serial numbers of the 2 guns is less than 100 apart). I bought it on the spot. Now I need to apply for the licence and want some pointers... I am a member of wingshooters and also belong to a shooting club. I am a dedicated hunter. My motivation is really that it will be a backup gun, will use it for competition shooting and lastly want to groom my son into shooting.

Do you guys think this is adequate or do I need to elaborate even more??

All help will be appreciated.

Regards,

Leon

You would think that it should be sufficient but then who knows?

You might have to elaborate on the competition element saying you need the exact same weapon in order to be competitive and that it should shoot to the same"point of aim" etc, etc.

Further motivation from other professional competitors may also be useful in this regard.

Is your son not old enough for a license?

Good luck

What would you do if you knew you could not fail

Thanks gazza, Son only 8yrs old, but he loves shooting with my .22 and he has broken a few "incoming" clays with my 20ga.

Good point re: competition element.
