Were all the necessary mounting points already welded onto the chassis or did you have to weld it on during conversion?
I guess you will have to route wiring outside the loom, and fit warning/pilot lights outside the speedo console since trying to modify the the standard wiring loom is perhaps too risky.
(I was involved with doing a similar modification on a Hardbody, and there the 4x4 loom differed from the 2x4 loom. The loom plug going to the dash had a different number of connectors as well.
Also, the Nissan 2x4 chassis differs slightly from the 4x4 chassis, requiring the welding up of mountings).
