I think they need to add shares in Shell to the package, I think that monster must be a beaut to drive, but hate to think about fuel consumption.

Semi-OT, but I see that this Hummer will only be rated to pull about 2500kg. Why so little? I know the Defender is rated at 3500kg and the Navara at 3000. I would imagine the Hummer being just as heavy as the others and the engine has massive output when compared to the Defender.

So what gives?

Problem is: if tow anything more than 2500kg you won't make it out the gate before the fuel is used up!

Love it or hate it, there seems to be no in-between, me I love it, although admittedly I have never driven one.

I think the towing capacity is so low because they work on the combined weight of tow vehicle and whatever is being towed. They are obviously trying to keep it below a certain amount otherwise you'll need a code 10 license to drive the thing like the big F250's.

I personnally love the Hummer and wish I can have one one day.....

Test drove the V8 and to sum it up, I'm not interested in spending the money to upgrade from my 3.7lt, drive is nice and smooth and seems to have a bit more go, but price gap between second hand market and new is too big, for far less you can do a few engine mods and get a hell of a lot more performance out the standard 3.7lt, one day when the second hand V8's are on the market I might think about changing my 3.7lt, don't tow anything so not fussed about that side and also fitted an extended tank so not fused about fuel ecom.......
