Default Hummer & Harley Special

I see in today's Sunday Times, GMSA is running a special, buy a Hummer for R393k, and get a Harley Davidson included in the price! I am sure that is enough to convince many new buyers!

All you need is a trailer to tow the Harley behind the hummer for the Dec holiday~!
Does seem like a perfect match (Hummer + Harley).

Well, if you can sell the harley for 220K and sell the "new" hummer for say 320K, then buy the combo at R393K, sell the harley and the hummer seperately and you have made R127K for doing almost nothing

Unfortunately the XL883 goes for R65 000. (Motoring.co.za)

I still think it's a good deal, sell the bike for say R50k, and you have a nice R50k discounted Hummer.

Careful, the 883 is not exactly awe inspiring. Great girls bike, mind you!

Come on guys, why do you think all the dealers have specials. They can not get rid of the vehicles. Not only Hummers but most of the car dealers. Think you are going to do better?

NEWS FLASH....

GM is going to discontinue the H3 Hummer because sales here in SA and in the US is not what they thaught it would be. My step brother's girlfriend's dad work in GMSA, inside scoop.
Another problem with the hummers here in SA is that they keep on breaking front CV joints and GM has upgraded, without telling the public, the front suspension to that of the V8 models in the US to stop the CV joints from breaking but kept the 5 cylinder enjin, and they want to know why sales are not what they thaught.... If they had the V8 in from the beginning it would have been a different story.

Hummers, F250 and the F350's are nice but they will never work here in SA for the one reason alone; their width.....

99% of trails here in SA is for narrow wheel tracts and these Hummers are just to wide. They will work great in the desert and Kalahari and that's about it.

With the world's economy taking a bashing and the price of parts, small wonder the hummer is taking a knock. I must admit though, a hummer kitted out as a 4x4 and not a Sandton bling thing is very pleasing to the eye.

a jeep wrangler 4 dr is bigger than the hummer. Small windows, terrible offroad engin, outlets etc works against it. Wheel arches in back door etc etc. Buy the hummer, keep the harley and throw the hummer away!
