Default Oil change in Centurion, where?

I am not comfortable with the new 1 year 24000km policy of LR and am looking for a place in Centurion that can do an oil change on my Disco every second 12000km?

LR themself ? you are the customer so let them do it, can't hurt.
Otherwise try Hatting Motors close to the cricket grounds, where TimberCity used to be.

You are not allowed to get it done by anyone other than the dealers

Many VW dealers do the oil extraction and filling via the dipstick. Is this not an option maybe?

Why cheat the system? You can afford a D4, then surely you can afford an oil change at the dealers?

I feel cheated by them and would rather pay an Indy to do the job since LR changed what I initially paid for.
ie. Principal case not monetary case.

You do realise that in principal they can void your warranty then?

On the V8 I doubt you can source the "Recommended" oil from other than LR @ R70 odd / Liter x 8. Oil filter is R 288.

Intermediate (dealer) service will be charged at +- R 1300, plus they will stamp your book.

The latest oil and alternative is as follows :

Quote:
SAE 5W-20 engine oil meeting
specification WSS-M2C925-A.
If unavailable, SAE 0W-20
engine oil meeting Jaguar Land
Rover specification
STJLR.51.5122 may be used.
Also remember that oil that is "suitable for use" is not the same as oil that is "approved for use" (Marketing trick).

if under warranty, grin and bear the stealers.
it is worth playing ball
i would however go for the reduced intervals for sure
once out of warranty, LR will just turn and walk away
it is once you go beyond 100 000km that poor lube intervals start showing up.
