Advice on Rims for 33x12.5x15 Tyres
Hi
I have a set of Hankook 33x12.5x15 M/T tyres and need some advice on what rims to get and where to get them.
Firstly, I would just like to make sure that the best rim to fit to these tyres is the 15x10inch? as I read of people that do say you can fit the 15x8inch rims to them?
and where, if possible, can I get 15x10 with 139/5 pcd rims in SA? Im looking for the white/Black steel rims.
Thanks

I was just having a look around the web now and it seems that most people fit 33x12.5s on 8'' rims but there are also some who fit them on 10'' rims aswell. You would probably be ok fitting your tyres on either 8s or 10s.
Just my five cents
Are you sure your pcd is 5x139?

Thanks for the reply Gundem,
Yes I had a look on varies sites to see what the pcd is and by doing some calculations accordingly I found that that is the real pcd. They actually refer to it as 5x5.5" which gives you 5x139.7
Ive been asking around for 15x10's but struggeld to find some. Will see what I can find on 15x8's.
Thanks alot!

Are you looking for new rims or second hand? I know that you can buy new 15x8 steel epoxy rims from most tyre places like dunlop zone and Hi-Q. Im not sure about 15x10s, they might have them aswell. Keep checking gumtree.co.za, there are often steel rims for sale.
Good luck

Pretty sure A line do an 8" with that PCD.
If not, you can always alter them. Steelies are nice that way.

I have done some more reading and found that 8" is problilbly the better rim to fit, thanks to Gundem. I will go to the local dealerships to see what they have. Second hand ones will do if its in good condition. But if I can find a set of new ones that will also do!
@ Hagu13 what are ment by alter them? I have not heard that term before..

Alter as in modify.
For example the wheels on my van are A-line 8" steelies, but they have a new centre to suit my PCD and hub. The centre has also been moved to change the offset (how deep in or how far out of the wheelarch they sit) and beadlocks have been added.

Very nice rims you have there! I contacted A-Line today and they do have the steel rims in my PCD but only in 7", not in 8". I managed to find a place in Cape town that will widen the rims for me by 1". Think that is the option to go? I phoned around but cant find 8" in that PCD. Where did you made that centers to suit your PCD?
Thanks for the input. Helps alot!
