Welcome to the Forum!!
Well if Difflock's post on THIS thread is anything to go by, it is going to be costly.... He paid R7.500 . Shop around. The amount he paid for the 150,000 service on his KZTE 3.0 D/C 2004 (includes V-belt), seems way to high. Any Toyota dealer will be able to give you a quote in seconds. Make sure they email you a copy and check what is listed.

The Fortuner's 150 000 was just over R3 500, but it was a minor service with the timing belt. At 160 000 it is a major service, again above R3 500.

150 000 km service + timing belt R3500 @ Hatfield Toyota
I must add that Menlyn Barloworld Toyota quoted me R4500 for the same service...

Chaps, you guys have not owned VW's or Jeeps. Timing belt should not be more than R3500 then your service. Make sure you chaps have your fuel filters done same time. Morenah, how have you found the auto box so far?

The 150 000 service on the 4L v6 was just over R 1000. The 160 000 was R 800. The most expensive service I have had was just under R 3000, but that included replacement of from discs and pads (al done at Toyota). I guess this is where I make up for the expensive fuel bill.
I am however surprised that the difference is this big

Why do quotes differ by so much?
I mean it is a standardised:- Service schedule;
- Labour rate;
- Parts prices?
Or do the the dealers manoeuvre on parts / labour discount? (Hopefully not by omissions!)

That is the scary part out of this.
Take this simple example, they quoted me 150 labour and 300 filter = 450 for extra filter change ( which I then did myself )
Another guy here got quoted R200 more for the same thing.
