That seems to be what all the 4x2 owners say when they want to go where the 4x4 go! Same as the 4x2 Fortuner spinning uselessly on the muddy surface two posts back......
and the tyres are not even deflated. So... what do you do? Help them or not?

I've been to Moz in a 4x2 Colt with diff lock. We traveled between Ponta D'Ouro and Malongane for 2 weeks with no issues. But that doesn't mean I'll try go anywhere a 4x4 can go. It means I deflated properly, kept momentum where I needed to, and had a Jeep with us in case we got stuck.

Hell, even with the Wrangler I know my limitations. If the pavement at the mall is too high, I just go take up 4 parkings elsewhere.

    For getting dirty:
    2008 KTM 300 XC-W
    2001 Raptor 660 - slightly fiddled with

Tyre pressure was too high - that was the main problem - 1,8. We did not expect the sudden deep sand there! This was obviously aggravated by the very high temperature of the sand.

All the kit in the world bolted to the vehicle but obviously no recovery points.
    Dangerous tow-ball recovery again.
