Thanks Flip! Ek het so paar daar in Centurion omgewing 'n tydtjie terug gedoen.

Jy't nog nie my cache gaan soek nie, sien ek. GC2MP1K.

Ek stem, kwaliteit. Ek dink meer cachers moet kwaliteit caches gaan plaas.

My 100th cache find is coming up (yes I have been slacking since 2011) and I wanted to make it something special. I don't have premium membership so searching for particular types of caches is difficult.

So, anyone know of a cache in the Pretoria area (willing to travel a bit) that is special? At the very least a 2.5 difficulty and preferably a 3 terrain rating, perhaps with a nice view, and breaking a bit of a sweat to get it.

I'll also be getting a TB and place another cache to celebrate it, I think.

    Cool Thread!

My Caching name is TrailriderZA. I recently released a Geocoin and the first person that picked it up took it to California.

Nice to have a TB or coin starting off on a long distance trip. We also released a TB at the MEGA and the log said it is on it's way to Cape Town, not dropped off yet but hopefully it will travel far.

Min mense kom daar. Daar is in totaal 6 caches daar.

To anyone in the Breede River, can swim, and is not claustrophobic, you MUST do this one...

Agreed, it is one of the best location ones I have done. Just make sure to do it from upstream, and it is far more fun that way.

We actually park at the bottom of the pass and the float all the way down to the vineyards then walk up to the cars. It is such a fun thing to do in the 40 degree heat

We did it from downstream as recommended because of the strength of the stream. Next time we'll do it the other way

It certainly looks like an interesting cache to do, not sure if SWAMBO will go in that tunnel with me!!!. It seems there is more cachers on this forum than I initially thought. I will post a thread closer to the date of the National GTG to see if some of the cachers who will be attending want to join in and find the caches in the Gariep area.

Also had a good laugh ...
We have logged a couple of his caches during a visit to Bloem - he truly puts effort in the containers and the placing
