    Hallo Captain Chaos.

Yes, it can be done - very nice scenery. I've done this route twice in summer and has never been challenging. Nice camping spot close to Matabeng. (T4a show the camp site)

    Question Matabeng pass

I am planning a Lesotho trip for first two weeks in September and one of my routes is Matabeng pass (Sehlabathebe to sehonghong). I am a bit worried about
    1. the weather for that time of year.
    2. The other worrying factor is that we are doing a solo trip. I know it's not so wise but this is how its has to be.
    Does anybody have any advise??

I cannot see why you shouldn't do it alone, unless there is still bad snowfalls. I figure that the worst winter weather should be over by then.

September is die weer baie lekker maar saans is dit maar koud. Kans vir reen is skraal. Die omgewing is net nie so mooi groen nie, in Maart/April is die plek baie mooi ook met 'n kleiner kans vir reen.
