Let's have a look at the interest in this.

Google Earth Placemark
Mapsource Placemark
I have PM'd all the members on the East London List
Had a look ( Half the pictures taken with my phone - memory card left at home )
Reasonably accessible with a high clearance platkar ( provided it hasn't rained - I wouldn't recommend a BMW or Merc etc. )
Campsite
The reception looks organised from outside. There is also a rins place with a hose - not a high pressure washer as per picture.

There are 3 small flats
The ablutions are simple but clean with open air showers.

Great place. Done the route 3 times. Sorry cant make it, my shift that weekend. Enjoy, good braai area and great company.
Images added.
WOW, hold on! Spoke to Ralph tonight, there's a big bike racing thing on the proposed weekend. Ralph will move his training to the following weekend and he wants to do the GTG then.
Can we ask the mods to change the title accordingly? We'll do it the weekend of 5 December or maybe later in December or early January.
I'm still in and maybe Waynepott can come then too.

Sounds like a good idea. 4ePikanini , I didn't get the PM or are Gonubie members excludedWe have booked De kraal for 21 Nov for swambos 40th. About 50 of us will be camping there , so I suggest you give them ample time to re-stock the pub before the GTG. cheers , rob.
I have added costs to the original post.
Anybody is welcome including non-members ( provided they abide by the rules ).
Anybody from PE going to make the trip?
Joao Felizardo added to the list.
I have PM'd Ralph to give us details regarding the trail - times, costs, meeting point etc.
Barto ( Zantus ) said that Ralph has other commitments the 28th so I changed the date to the 5th of December.
I have PM'd Ralph over the weekend and still await his response regarding the trail.
Right chaps the broad details are coming together.
On Saturday the 5th I will doing training at De Kraal. The general idea is that those who want to do training can join me. Those that want to do the standard trail can do this following the T4A route.
On the Saturday night we will either camp or stay in the Chalets and Peter will provide the fire or I can arrange his famous catering.
On the Sunday we will do a special new route Peter is busy opening - this will include the infamous river route, craig's hill and the new section.
I am working with Peter on the pricing but so far :
Chalet 5 sleeper - 1 night R350 / 2 night R500 this include fire wood.
Camping - R30 per person
Trail Cost - Daily Rate R100 / If camping/chalet R100 for the weekend
Training - Forum members R500. Non forum R750. If you own a Mitsubishi there is a special deal via Ronnies Motors - i.e. free they will pay the training fee via the MOX program.
The general idea is to do 2 different routes on Saturday and Sunday and for those who want to do training the option is available for Saturday.
For those of you with offroad bikes the option is to do the bike trail on the Saturday.
As I get more details I will post them.
Count me in for training ( jippee, I have a mitsu ) on saturday and route on sunday but I'll pass on the heavy stuff.
