Damn!! I would LOVE to go on a GTG but I have yet to get a snorkel and a large enuff fuel tank to last the journey. Wonder if I do fit these, how long will it take for me to drive there? Will my gps work as I cross time zones? so many questions, so few answers.....

click on the classifieds ad on the top left of any page.

Once the classifieds page loads, top right is a "place an ad" link.

    Default Location is everything

    Can I make a suggestion...

If someone posts "where can I buy ...?" please take note of their location. It is pointless if someone is from Cape Town and looking for something, to post "Try X in Roodepoort".

If they has exhausted their options and other suggestions are not forthcoming or you know with a fair degree of certainty that the poster wont find anything locally, then fair enough.

But almost always there is a supplier local to the original poster.

Hi All, Adam from Harare here.
Whew! It's gonna take time for me to nav the website as I'm not only newbee here, but to the whole web deal. Thanks for the intro tips though. It makes it easier to get started. I have no idea how, where or what an Avatar is, guess all will be revealed in time, including mine
I'm driving a DiscoII which has done me proud over the past 5 years, never failed to get me home despite the tough roads and tracks I've taken it thru.
Looking forward to meeting fellow adventurers who have a passion for going to new places and making a plan when the tough gets going

Adam, welcome here, you will eventually find lots of nice stuff here and there. With time you will get the jist and it will be plain sailing. Just ask questions if you arent sure.
