Default New to camping - Battery, fridge/freezer query

    Hi all

I am new to camping and have recently purchased a second hand Jurgens XT160.
To prolong the life of the battery and fridge/freezer, I would like to know if it is best to keep the camper connected to the power outlet while standing at home?
Should the fridge/freezer be running the whole time and if so, what is the ideal temperature setting?

    Thanks

    Welcome.
Stored batteries should be connected to decent chargers and they will give good and long service.
Im lazy wrt my fridges but they should also work for a few days every month.
    Enjoy.
