Default trailer axle with stub for shoch

    Hi all,

I want to replace the complete axle on my echo3 trailer (which have shocks mounted) My question is, can you buy the axle with the "stub" (not sure what it is called) already welded onto the new axle? The axles at roadque comes without the "pin" where the "eye" of the shock is attached to the axle?

Recently replaced the axle on our van - Burquip axle - had to drill the holes for the leaf spring pins & had to weld on brackets for the shock mounts.
I have no experience with Roadque axles

The real problem is that the axle needs to be certified, by a registered manufacturer.

So yes, to make an axle with a detachable stub is not the trick. The legalizing of it is. If something happen, like an accident, the insurance can reject the claim, because the axle is not certified.
