    Default auxiliary battery system or Solar panel

    I want to go for 3 weeks to Namibia.What will be the best option Solar panel or a second battery from altenator to run 60 Liter fridge.If solar what make should I by to mount on my canopy roof.

    Why solar, why not a second battery (> 80 ah) with charger from the alternator, assuming it will be long hours driving per day.

    You only need solar if you not driving for longer than a day, than add about 150 watt solar panels with charger if the above charger not able to do both.

    If it is a choice between the two, I would go for the dual battery.
    Lusted for a Landy but the Pajero was sexier and bigger in the right departments, just like my Missus.
