Default DStv connection inside a caravan

OK this may sound upper classy but here goes....

Swambo and I (or is it me and Swambo) will spend 3 weeks at Rocky Bay and we will be needing some TV to watch. Why? because it is there.

I have all of the kit (Ellies portable dish and brackets) but I need ideas on how to fit an aerial cable connection on the side of the van to enable the co ax cable to be connected from the dish to the decoder.

I would obviously drill a small hole through the side of the van wall and make up a connector with female connections on the inside and the outside.

    Anyone done this? Any ideas?

    Thanks and cheers

Ellies should have all the bits you need.

You should be able to mount a bayonet female connector to the outside for the LNB lead.

Just make sure the co-ax and the ends are well connected.

If you need something robust, try RS-Online:
