    Default Montana 600 maps

    Good day,

I currently have SSA Streetmaps 2013.1 loaded on my Montana 600, and would like to upgrade to a new set of maps as the current maps are a bit outdated. I do both city and country navigation. Would City Navigator be the answer?

    Regards
    Wilfre

    Hi Wilfre,

The street maps will focus more on navigation in cities and between cities - it will also give you the main gravel roads. If you are looking into travelling into remote off-road areas, and especially in countries north of SA, Tracks4Africa maps will have those tracks.

    Hi Lizette,

Thank you for your reply. I do have T4A as well. I think I will settle for CN then as I need maps for city driving and finding addresses.

    Hi Wielie,

Great - you can load both the CN and T4A on the GPS and switch between the two as needed. I tend to just use Google Maps in town and drive on T4A for everything else.

    Hi Lizette,

Thatís what I currently do. Would have liked it though if you could locate addresses on T4A

    Hi Wielie,

We have added most of the streets in SA (and some neighbouring countries) to the GPS maps - so you should be able to navigate to a street, but unfortunately not to a street number. We are working on that!

    Regards

    Lizette
