    Default Spioenkop camping

Hi fellow forum members. Family considering camping at Spioenkop for the Easter weekend. Dam is apparently full again and will take a boat.

Does anyone have any feedback on the condition of the sites there and if it's worthwhile? Anyone been there recently?

    Thanks in advance.

We have not been for a while. The camp was in a poor state when we were there. Ablution blocks were in serious need of attention, although they were clean.

We stopped going about 2 years ago, too many noisy all night parties... And the sites weren't well maintained as mentioned above.
Pity really, it has such potential!

    Hi farmer

Did you end up going to Spioenkop and if so how was it. We spent a night there on our travels in December and found it not to bad. Small things like unemptied dustbins. Not many campers so no noise.
