    Default New to Forum

Just a newbie greeting: Name is Dave, IanK being my second name and surname initial. (too many Daves on the forum, cannot find a variant not taken!)
Have been browsing for a while, and found this to be a place of much experience, and plenty overland wisdom.

My passion is getting away to very deserted places in reliable vehicles.
I am a very enthusiastic nature, predominantly wildlife photographer (DaveK photography on Facebook)

Currently own LR Disco 3 Tdv6 whose engine has just blown up, and LC DC 4.5 V8 Diesel, in process of being fully converted for overland travel.

    Exciting days.

    Dave.

thanks folks. Rebuild starts this week

The crankshafts of the new motor come from a different source. THe bearings are different too. After a very big fight got a good price! Excellent advice from someone on the forum.
Lets hope the suspension keeps going
