fuses etc in between where required.
102 a/h leisure unit in rear powering fridge (40litre camp master with danfoss compressor.)

WRND 20 A Controller mounting via crocodile clamps to battery when required and harrison plug to connect to solar.

I am guessing 120watt panel to be suffice?

If I am guessing correct where would the best price be and what type of panel? 4x4 direct is going @ about R10/watt. Is this going rate or cheaper to be found else where

I don't what cheap chinese, but also don't require rolls royce.
Think 120 Watt a bit small, on overcast days you would get approx 3-4 days max with 1 x 105 battery.
We used a 130 Watt/2 x 105 DC batteries and with good sun it lasted 3 weeks - batteries were full when we left.
130 Watt lasted almost 4 days in heavy overcast weather.

Why not go for 2 x 100 Watt and Victron MPPT 100/15 (one big panel is heavy and difficult to handle, reason why I dumped the 130 Watt)
Then you put the panels in series.
Try Setsolar in Capetown, the 2 x panels and MPPT put me back R2500 during their special in November 2017.
I have their contact in Pretoria details (try miss Google for their CT details).

    I agree!

    I use a WRND Controller/Charger with 2 x 105 DC batteries and 2 x 120w Solar Panels

On my last bush camping trip, I was at a beautiful spot with huge trees next to a river, the only problem was that I was only getting direct sunlight between 12:00 and 15:00 (about 3 hours)

With one solar panel, I probably would have been in trouble on day 4.

My advice will be to double up. Once you are in for one panel the next one only takes about 3.5cm of extra space.

Not inside their shop when I was search for panels. And other goodies. Got quite a shock when they presented me with an invoice. Everything marked is VAT excl.

Thanks for the heads up. I will push this under their noses when I purchase there again.
