Default Wild Coast Route Kob In to Hole In The Wall

Has anybody recently travelled this area and have information on the roads. I am keen to do the alternative route in stead of the one via the N2.

Go to Dwessa (the reserve in between the two). The roads are bad but driveable, just have to drive slowly

Thank you for the information. We did the trip but only used "main" roads. As we only had one day to travel from Kob Inn to Hole In The Wall, and the locals at Kob Inn advised that the off road tracks are very bad. Even the "main" roads of which part was the N2, took about half a day to the 200km. I hope to go back for a few days to actually do some of the off road tracks.

Please refer to my trip report (East Coast or KZN section - cannot remember where I posted it)
Stay away from N2 (Construction. stop ^ go etc.)
You may need road permits depending on where you want to go - again - refer to my trip report.
