This section of the trail is new to me, I think Richard may have opened it recently.
From up there the views are spectacular.
WillieJac, I apologise for the low number of photos taken on your daughter's camera. She handed it to me before you started the climb. You were half way up before we figured out that it was not on.
This area is probably my favorite part of the trail. Looks like you guys took the escape route to the right of the original route, however looks like the escape route has now eroded a bit. Passenger had a tough time keeping the camera on the road there

Did you guys carry on further right to the top?

Yes, we took the circular road right to the top.

Can these photos be converted to jpeg files so that one can save them and few them later?

Seeing the cross-axles again made me laugh. When I did it I was last in line with a couple of Tunas in front of me. Someone's Swambo was taking a video.

After I completed the obstacle she walked over to me and said that she was dissapointed that I didn't do as well as the others. She was hoping that my wheels would also lift up so nicely into the air and she was very dissapointed that they all stayed on the ground

I've got the exact same comment on video from a lady who filmed me in my Defender doing an obstacle after a couple of d/cabs!
I'm not arguing, I'm just explaining why I'm right!

And that was before I broke my rear swaybar off at Iguana. I had to fasten the rear coilsprings with u-bolts so that they don't fall out under extreme articulation.

Bigger problem is the shocks. I have broken them off a couple of times and had to weld them back together.

A stock standard Defender really has awesome articulation.

OK, she was right. The bash plate needs panel beating.

Chris, half of Red Hill was hiding in the bash plate. I will have to remove it to fix it.
