    Jip. It's a colourised photo. I've posted a fee on this thread a while back.

    They are manually changed from a monochrome to colour using software such as Photoshop. Though some forms of colour photography were available in the late 19th century, it only started to become viable and usable in the early 20th century.

    I really like these colourised photos. Really amazing to see a well known images in colour. Somehow makes them seem more "real"? Some of the people who do them (like Sanna Dullaway) are really, really good!

    Many more really good ones here.

    The last time boy sailors were used I think was the Royal Oak that was sunk by U-47 commanded by Gunther Prein attack on Scapa Flow some 120 died aged 14 to 17 since that sinking the use was stopped
