    I see your Antonov, and raise you with the Stratolaunch....

    Antonov wingspan: 88.4m
    Stratolaunch wingspan: 117m

    OK...so it's smaller in other aspects, and it hasn't flown yet, but man oh man....it's huge....and being billed as the world's largest plane. It is designed to carry rockets into the stratosphere, where they are released before firing their engines and continuing on into space.

    That is not true. The fire fighters and initial responders died, a total of 52 deaths directly linked to radiation poisoning.
