I read your post just after we had a fair bit of stormy weather here in Cape Town - that'll teach me to pay more attention to the posting dates

I believe it's raining nicely in Cape Town, or areas of it. May it last!

Started raining in Bellville at 1:00 AM .... nice long soft rain, typical winter rain.

We had a school cycling event in Somerset West this morning .... First two groups were cancelled (6 and 7 year olds) .... By 12:00 it had rained so much that most two wheel drive cars could not even get out the parking lot !! Tires were just turning on the "snot" and the vehicle did not move ..... lightest push from by-standers and you got out ...

took a bit of work to clean the bike (thankfully I have a rainwater tank for such use ... no need to phone the water police)
