Default I want to drive off a Cliff.

So today driving along highway, this vehicle slipped between two trucks from the on ramp. All good...

Sped up a bit as I was going faster than him and expected him to move left and then I am on speed to pass quickly.

    Not to be...

Clearly, he was in the process of passing the third truck, keep left pass right, so well in his rights to stay in the right lane. And he was driving at the speed limit, almost. So he did nothing wrong.

But, why did you speed up from a steady 115 kmh to 122 when you saw him cutting in front of you?

Did he move over after he passed the truck? The video stopped rather suddenly.

There was another truck ahead...he stayed right.
I went to left lane just behind him. Enough space and time to pass on left hand side.
After passing third truck he stayed right.

I mentioned it in op....expected him to move left.

Then have momentum to pass as quickly as possible

you can always spot a chump like that. Doesn't matter the circumstances, they come onto a highway and straight into the fast lane and camp there until their off ramp.

Ok here comes some fun again.

I think you would have been fully within your right to pass him on the left.............

Prof if those few seconds make you want to drive off a cliff I suggest you up the dosage on your happy pills. (tic)

As you say this is part of each and every day and there is such varied perceptions of what is ok, that it is just not worth getting uptight about this.

A number of things would have influenced whether I would have moved over. How much traffic was there behind you, what is the usual behaviour of the drivers in that area. If thy was me between Hammarsdale and Ashburton, I would have moved over only after the 3rd truck. You get stuck behind the truck and nobody, but NOBODY let's you back in.

I think you were behind him for 27 seconds, not a long time unless he really didn't move over as you claim. No evidence of that though except your word. I'm sure you're trustworthy though, so let's label him a chop in the meantime ...

Don't like it done to me, so won't do it others.

As this was a classified highway(blue road signs) one would be in one rights to flash (according to NRTA), but sometimes the reaction you receive...rather not.

He must have been aware of me...due to the move between the trucks from the off-ramp.
If he wasn't aware of me...then I have no words

When did this become Traffic complaint Central?

You lost 3 seconds out of your life there, and 10 minutes complaining.
