Today (Sunday, 8 Jan) my wife and I headed to Hennops, imagining that the incredible amount of rain that Gauteng has had in the past week would make for a fun and challenging off-road experience.

I was surprised to, around 12:00, find that there was not a single other off-roader there, and that there had been none all day so far.

Everybody afraid of the water and mud?? The river was pretty full, but by no means flooded.

We ended up not doing the trail, didn't think it's safe to be literally the only vehicle on the trail, much fun as it could have been to have the run of the place.
