Would these H4's for R895 also fit on a 79 series Land Cruiser?

    Scalpel,

It will work as long as it takes H4 bulbs of course. Please note that they are R 495 per set and not R 895 as you've mentioned.

Great price. Yes as far as I know the Cruiser has H4 bulbs in. I presume the fanless elite LED gives better light and better heat dissipation? Does these LED replacements work well with the normal lenses in these vehicles?

It works well with the lenses as well as the reflector on the Land Cruiser.

The main benefits of the fanless version over the standard version is the following:

    • Cooling: Fanless, so no more moving parts. There are no parts that will wear and tear over time.
    • Beam pattern: Redesigned reflectors for the H4 give the most concentrated HIGH beam with a clear cut off on LOW.
    • CANBUS compatible: Will not affect your vehicle’s computer
    • RFI Interference shielded: Will not affect your radio reception

Hi, I bought a set last year, but it seems the light is still aiming too high, do you perhaps know what i can do to drop the beam? I have tried the adjusting screw on the headlight but is hasnt done much to help.

    HiMuki,

Do you have the fanless series or the Standard Series?

With the fanless series you can adjust the bulb so that it sits perpendicular in the housing.

Let me know if that works. It is not supposed to aim too high on the Hilux. They work very well with the Hilux reflector housing.

It's the standard version. I did notice now that I seemed to have forgotten the brass round thing that screws on the front. Would this affect the light spread? I got a feeling it might be the adjustment screw as I don't notice any movement when turning the screw.

The brass cap will not make a difference to the light spread. The best thing to do is park up against a wall and then adjust to bulb to make sure that the beam pattern is correct. If this still doesn't work you can DM me your cell phone number so that we can give you a call and sort this out for you.

We don't want you driving around not being happy with the results

Thanks! Will see when I get a chance. I'm quite happy with them, but I think the people driving the opposite direction might not be as happy
