    Lightbulb GPS Coords Converter Utility

I have completed the little utility.

The utility has an Input area and an Output area.
The coords are pasted / typed into the Input area (in any of the popular formats) and it will then be translated to all the popular formats.

You can Input either one point at a time, or a pair of coords.

Please download the utility from this URL (all older versions removed):

    Gerhard

Can I just suggest one more input format?

    33 49' 3.69" S 18 29' 26.77" E (Southing and Easting at the end)

This is the default GE format.

    It already does (as input)

Would you require the E & S at the end of the coords in the output?

Unless I did something wrong, it didn't work with it at the end (of the input) and wasn't part of the "templates" you have

Remember to choose the "Two points" option.

(I added the option to add S & E to output)

I pasted your example to it, and chose to add the 'S' & 'E' at the end:

Somehow if you convert two Coordinates, the DDD MM.mmm Coordinate calculates the wrond point on POINT#2 and BOTH and you end up with a different location. As seen in the screenshot, the input is in DDD MM.mmm format but the DDD MM.mmm output is different

Then futher if I can make a suggestion, Is it possible to have an option to replace the S or W with a negative sign (-) example -25.258 27.569

Other than that, this is a great application!!

Default GPS Coords Converter - confused

    Help Please.

    When I enter S26 02 17.2 E28 24 00.4 into the converter input I get S26 2.2867 E28 24.2867

If I do the two points singly:
    For S26 02 17.2 I get 26 2.2867
For E28 24 00.4 I get 28 24.0067 - not the same as when a two point coversion is done.

    Am I doing something wrong?
