    Default Frustrated in the NC

    Hi all

Just thought I'd mention I'm sitting in the northern Cape, with only a 2G connection, miles of Kalahari to play in, and no one to play with and waiting for a truck to arrive with spares from JHB........

    Grrrrrrrrrrrr

    I feel better now

    Howzit Kai,

Landed this morning, so I'm back in the buzzing metropolis of Kathu. Give me a buzz and come round for a beer tonight.

We can also see if we can arrange a little trip.

I can also help you out with the pump and a repair kit maybe ....

See ...NC isn't that bad! Can't do anything about the lack of 3g though!

At least Kai's car won't show the red dust in the NC...

There are a few members here that will differ from you and it seems like your long term memory is also shot if you have already forgotten your previous colt

In any case I was just wondering since you mentioned waiting for a truck to deliver parts

    Hmmm ja no well fine....

My day started off digging the truck out of the Kalahari sand. The truck was pulled off last night by the cops and parked in sand.... That was the end of him. Our team and I dug his wheels free and used conveyor belts for him to drive on. His diff lock didnt work either....

Then work work work..... and somewhat bored. Not allowed to do (much) ohysical work as I havent done my induction and medicals and all that cr@p.....

We worked late and just finished dinner.

Bennie: My first colt was white, the red one dont breaK
Herman: Meeting up with Craig tomorrow
    Herman: Colt NOT stuck (yet)
FD: Beleive me, the red colour of Iron Ore will discolour anything.........

    Greetings from the NC..

That is a real pain in the @ss. We had to go through it as well when we erected a new 80-metre Radio Mast there. You have my sympathies!

Yip, I have been here for smack on a year now, so I had to redo the whole medical thing. I would not call it fun!

Anyway - behaved well tonight. Heading out to Hotazel tomorrow to try to find some decent sand.

PS - wouldn't trade the red sand for anything!!! Don't miss the city at all ...

    Craig, Andre,

Thanks for the great time. Was good fun, just too short. Next time we need to make it longer.

With tyres to 0.8 bar, I think we would have had more fun.

Did you find the Cell at the end

    Cheers
