Agreed. I'm not one to fight such fights. I only follow the protocol and it's let me down again.

Same story with the engine that failed. The systems in place that are supposed to protect me have failed me altogether..... more than once.

    A learning curve.

For your own sanity, why not get a diesel test kit to test for paraffin yourself? I have a thread on such a kit and have tested it, it does work.

Too late. I will never win that case. I may get a kit to test when travelling again and im unsure of the fuel elsewhere.

I owned a bp garage until recently.

Some while ago bp HO send me an invoice to pay for a customer's damage who claimed that the parraffin in my diesel caused his 19 voetsek Isuzu bakkie's diesel pump to seize.
They did this before any tests was done, very professional hey!
Dealing with bp has changed my life. I still believe they have a very good product, but I will walk plenty of miles to get fuel if I ran out, just to avoid supporting them ever again.

I will never ever use BP again. Never!

The miss is back. No codes.

Perhaps more crud in the filter?
Perhaps the other injectors got damaged by the fuel.

I'm either looking for a solid tree or 5 new injectors..... Eish!

Ai Marius, you've had a lot of bad luck with your Treg.

    It's really hitting home now.

Browsing online to price injectors just makes it worse!

Marius, how exactly can parrafin damage an injector.
You haven't got a blocked CAT or some wiring problem. Stay with the easiest causes first.
    This could all be coincidental.

Paraffin = bad lubrication. Bad lube = extra wear.

Extra wear means bad tolerances and sticky piezo movements inside the injector. Under load when max pressure and max injection is required, the injector cant keep up.

Rather stay with SASOL, they use their own trucks to transport fuel to limit the possibility of fuel contamination when using a 3rd party to transport fuel.

That is what I do, and 10 ppm now where possible.
