Maak net seker jy koop een wat reg is. Jy sal nooit terug kyk nie.

Dis n pyn want mens raak so bederf, als wat van tevore great was, is nou nie meer goed genoeg nie.

    The interest just eats you!
In my life I financed a vehicle for my wife with wesbank once. Never again. If I need to finance now I will do it through access bond. Much lower interest, I had prime -2 on my home mortgage and no penalties for early settlement.

Is there a way to finance it through an access bond?

Hope you find a way to finish the financing as soon as possible - being debt free is very comforting in the current environment.

Left side outer cv boot let go after 328'000km.

    Jack mode
    Jack car
    Wheel off
    Hub nut
    Upper balljoint
    Lower balljoint
    Tie rod end
    Brake sensor electrics disconnect
    Inner cv bolts
    Swaybar link

Immer cv has circlip (no need for me to have touched it). Outer just hammers off.

Thats the broad gist. Took about 90 minutes. I reckon next one will be under an hour.

I am quite hard on mine with all the gravel so yours should get to 400'000km at least.

OK, so I jinxed it the other day when I said the bonnet hasn't been opened for repairs in a long time.

Exhaust manifold finally cracked after 326'000km.

New one is pretty dear but already ordered.

Nah, it is just your Treg doing its civic duty so that you can fix it and contribute to the body of knowledge.

Marius have you checked the manifold to see what is wrong. I repaired an R5 manifold successfully a number of times.
I'm not arguing, I'm just explaining why I'm right!

The ones I am talking about was on a Transporter, not sure if they are the same. It was stainless steel. We just welded the cracks and it lasted for quite a while again.

    Yeah. Same as transporter.

The one I have ordered is a cast manifold so it should be good forever.
