Looking at that photo reminds me of something which frustrated me on my Treg. They built the arm rest so that it can slide forward, but by doing so, the cup holders are then covered. So it's either have cup holders, or an armrest in the forward position

The front centre armrest in my Pajero is the same. So it prevent me from drinking and driving.

You made me walk to my car now to check. After almost four years I was still unaware of the sliding arm rest!

    Looking good Marius. Nice radio!

I don't really use the sliding arm rest. Prefer to position my steering wheel more back, further from the dash, then the armrest is perfectly positioned for me anyway.

I am still to test this new-found trick in the Treg, but I suspect I will have the same opinion. The arm rests in the Disco makes me feel squashed in.

We need a "Do you know this trick in your Touareg?"-thread like the Disco guys!

    A few small ones

Open the bonnet and the nose lowers slightly to aid you on inspecting the engine. (air suspension models)

The air suspension wont lower with an open door to prevent a door from catching the curb

Under the mirror is a red light to help you see where tour hands are for the buttons at night.

If you have electric seats the left mirror moves down automatically when you select reverse (if the adjustment dial is on L)

When reversing or using window wiper sprayer the car uses recirculation so you dont get the smell in the car.

If your starting battery is flat, turn the key back and forward again but hold it. The car will now use the aux battery to start the car (v10 models)

If the engine coolant temp is lower than 7 Celsius when you start the car, it fires up a webasto heater and electric coolant pump to aid engine warmup.

It circulates diesel return from the heat past the incoming diesel to preheat it in cold conditions. It uses a thermostat system to avoid overheating the diesel.

Use the key in the drivers door. Hold the lock position to close all windows and sunroof. Hold unlock to open all.

Those with rain sensors in the mirror can be coded to auto close windows and roof in case of rain detection. Even when stationary and locked.

All I can think of for now.

Electronics are actually the least of my worries when it comes to touaregs.

There are many that own them on the forum and the electronics have been the least of the ported issues.

You misread. It is my computer keyboard that is being drooled over from listening to the W12.

Oops. My bad. Been in VW defense mode the last week with everyone attacking the v6 Amarok with silly arguments.
