My FJ met sy nuwe tekkies
Hey 17s Imported from US yes
What did it cost to import ?
Would like a 16"
These are the 16" TRD ones
Ek is bly om te sien dat hierdie FJ gesprek nog lewe het. Kom ons gee hom weer bietjie asem!
Glad to see the FJ discussions are still on the roll. Lets revive this thread. How many of you can admit, that parting with your previous FJ, was a wrong decision! Well, I made this mistake, but by end of last year I rectified it by filling the vacuum left more than a year ago! What an experience, almost like new love found!
I'm seriously looking for real bead lock rims( not look alike). If anyone can assist, please!

I think you might be alone there Bastien, at least in terms of getting back into an FJ...
There have been times where I've thought of letting mine go but I just can't seem to pull the trigger. Glad I haven't!
Will keep my ears open for bead locks and let you know if I hear of anything.
I am on my second, but it was basically straight from one to the other so no vacuum I must say the 160l tank is a huge bonus!!

Ek is bly om te sien niemand het nog iets oor die reverse kamera opgemerk nie! Dit beteken ek het n ordentlike job gedoen
My Hilux got stolen last week so ive decided to get an FJ , Im looking at buying a 2012 model with around 100000km on the clock.
Is there anything I should look out for? were there any model changes around this time?
Any help or suggestions would be great
Darryl - 2013 model came out with long range fuel tank and crawl control function, other than that I think it's pretty much the same as the 2012 model. First few models didn't have 12v power at the back, which the 2012 has. Very few known issues; prop shaft known to give slight jolt from time to time. Front seat known to lower on its know over time. If windscreen has been replaced make sure the top plastic piece was replaced with a new one as they have to be Brocken to replace windscreen. Check brake discs and pads at that mileage, might need to be replaced.
I've had mine from just under 20000km and it now has 103000km
i had my propshaft replaced but didn't have a problem with it, did it proactively
I replaced a CV joint
my FJ has had a hard life with me and it hasn't given me one drop of problems. It's even been on it's side once
If you buying 100k km make sure it's been fir it's service, my 100k km service was R6500(spark plugs)
go for it
